Justin McCurdy
Founder/Head Coach
Justin McCurdy founded ProSkills after graduating from Redondo Union High School in 2008. Redondo Union Basketball coach, Tom Maier, mentored McCurdy to launch ProSkills . While going to school full time at USC, McCurdy built ProSkills from the ground up with a bag of basketballs and 23 kids. ProSkills is now the premiere club basketball program in the South Bay, with over 140 club players ages 8U-12U, developmental players at the kinder & 1st grade level, and hundreds of summer campers.
Andy Fox
Chief Financial Officer
Andy grew up n the South Bay. He attended American Martyrs, Loyola High School and then USC. Basketball has always been a part of his life. He learned the business of basketball from 1992-1999 when his family was part of the Sacramento Kings ownership. He has two of two boys, Jackson (16) and ProSkills' player Will (12).
Brandon Johnson
Director of Content
Brandon Johnson is a videographer for BallisLife. He has a degree in film from Cal State Fullerton. Brandon has shot and produced sports content for the games biggest stars, and now brings his talent to ProSkills as our fulltime content creator.
Alex Tucker
Director of ProSkills Stars
Alex Tucker, a Redondo Union High School alum and three-time All CIF/State player, went on to play Division I basketball at Florida Atlantic University, where he remains the program’s all-time leader in assists. Following his collegiate career, Alex coached high school girls basketball in Florida before returning home to Redondo Beach. Over the past eight years, he has served as a ProSkills head coach, bringing a sharp eye for talent, a passion for player development, and deep experience to every team he leads.
Now a proud girl dad to newborn Callie—alongside his son Cade—Alex’s commitment to mentoring the next generation has taken on an even deeper meaning. He is excited to continue growing the ProSkills Stars program this season.
Mark Hill
Director of Player Development, Head Coach
Coach Mark's basketball journey is impressive, having grown up in Los Angeles and immersed himself in the world of AAU and SoCal High School basketball. He played as the Point Guard for Tulsa and Cal State Northridge during his four years of D1 basketball. Following his graduation, Coach Mark spent eight years playing professionally overseas in Europe and Asia, gaining valuable insights and skills. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Coach Mark has dedicated himself to basketball development, serving as a skills trainer for players of all ages and abilities. His expertise extends to working closely with college players on their NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals. Additionally, Coach Mark has been actively involved in coaching within The League for the past few seasons, along with overseeing our skill clinics.
Sean Collyer
Director of Coaching
Sean is currently the Director of Operations and Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Vistamar High School. Before joining Vistamar in 2019, he coached basketball at Moorpark High School and spent 8 years teaching at St. Genevieve High School where he served as the Asst. Athletic Director and Head Varsity Basketball coach. Prior to St. Genevieve, Sean was an Assistant Coach at Pierce College and the Head Coach at Granada Hills Charter High School. In addition to coaching basketball, Sean is passionate about gym construction and has managed multiple large construction projects with Lundgren Management, overseeing gym construction at Castaic High School and the College of the Canyons. He is excited to return for a third season with ProSkills as our new Director of Coaching. As the director of coaching, he will lead and oversee the development and implementation of coaching strategies and programs within ProSkills Basketball. He is responsible for providing guidance, mentorship, and resources to coaches to enhance player development, competitiveness, sportsmanship,accountability and to foster a positive team culture.
Trevor Lodeum Jackson
Head Coach/ Camp Director
Trevor Loduem Jackson's life has always revolved around basketball. He played during his time as a student at Vistamar School and later pursued a degree in theater at Kalamazoo College. Since 2020, he's been coaching basketball, currently as the Head JV Coach at Vistamar School. Alongside coaching, he is a favorite at My Gym Torrance as well as writing screenplays. Trevor's love for the game is evident in his dedication to teaching kids the skills and values it has taught him.
Lolu " Coach Lou" Labisi
Director of The League, Head Coach
Coach Lou brings a wealth of experience and passion to ProSkills as the Director of The League. A graduate of Fresno State with a B.A. in Business Administration, he leads our skills clinics and serves as the head coach for the ProSkills 8U and 9U Blue teams.
Last season, Coach Lou was an assistant coach with Team Holiday Nike EYBL, where he helped guide some of the top young talent in the country. His high-level coaching background, combined with a strong commitment to player development and mentorship, makes him an invaluable leader in shaping the next generation of hoopers. Under his direction, The League continues to grow as a competitive, fun, and foundational experience for our athletes.
Aaron Winshall
Head Coach
Coach Aaron Winshall brings a wealth of experience to ProSkills. He began his career working with top Division I programs like Syracuse University and the University of Miami before joining the Miami Heat’s Video Room Team. His extensive camp experience includes stints at prestigious programs such as Five-Star, Point Guard College, Coach K Basketball, and CP3 Elite Camp. Coach Winshall’s passion for youth basketball extends beyond North America, having directed camps across Europe and the Caribbean. Since 2018, he has proudly led the Haiti Basketball Foundation. In recent years, Coach Winshall has made a significant impact in the NBA Predraft space, contributing to the development of over 25 draft picks, including Alex Sarr, 2024 2nd overall selection. He is excited to return for a 2nd year with ProSkills and share his knowledge and love for the game with the ProSkills community.
Dayshawn Horton
Head Coach
Coach Dayshawn's passion for the game started early as a varsity player at Long Beach Jordan High School. By the age of 19, he transitioned into coaching. He first coached as the freshman coach at his alma mater, then spent three years at Mary Star High School as JV Head Coach and Varsity Assistant. Now, he’s taking on a new role as Varsity Assistant Coach at Vistamar High School.
Off the court, Dayshawn earned an Associate’s from Long Beach City College and a Bachelor’s from Cal State Dominguez Hills. He’s pursuing a Master’s in Special Education with the goal of becoming a Special Education teacher, aiming to inspire and uplift young people both in school and in sports. @Coachdayshawn
Petar Jovanovic
Head Coach
Coach Petar is excited to return for his 3rd season with ProSkills. Originally from Serbia, where he was a point-guard for Serbian (fka Yugoslavian) U16 national team that won the European championship. He moved to America at age 18, played his senior year in high school in FL, and then went on to play D2 basketball for Northwood University, MI all four years. He was a grad-assistant for the team while finishing his MBA, and also has experience coaching club basketball in Pennsylvania. Proud parent of two, he now works in finance, and is passionate about the game of basketball.
Collin Dean
Head Coach
Coach Collin Dean is a graduate of Tulane University, where he earned his degree in finance and served as president of the university’s club basketball team. Before college, he played four years of varsity basketball at Vistamar School (be sure to check out his photo on the wall of the gym), helping lead his team to a strong senior season that ended just short of the finals.
Collin’s background as both a player and leader has shaped his coaching style, emphasizing preparation, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. His goal is to use his playing and leadership experience to elevate players’ basketball IQ, strengthen team performance, and instill a lasting love for the game.
Tyler Merrill
Stars Head Coach
Coach Tyler Merrill is excited to back for his 6th season of ProSkills! He began coaching in 2007 for the Redondo Union High School JV team. After coaching there for 5 years he began coaching club basketball. Tyler is a Vocational Education Specialist for the School-To-Career program at Redondo Union High School.
Chase Williams
Head Coach
Coach Chase brings more than strategy to the court—he brings heart. Known for his ability to lighten tough moments with humor and encouragement, he reminds players that loving the game is just as important as the scoreboard. His passion shows in every drill, timeout, and pep talk, pushing athletes to believe in themselves and play with confidence. Chase cares deeply about his players not only as athletes but as people, creating an environment where growth, unity, and joy thrive. His clear communication and motivational style make him the kind of coach players never forget.
Chase has been playing basketball since the age of 12 and continues to compete at the college level, constantly learning and growing. Entering his third season with ProSkills he has already won multiple championships and built strong relationships with players and families. He has also trained with top coaches, NBA players, and currently plays for El Camino College, he uses those experiences to elevate both his own game and the development of his teams.
Morgan Clark
Head Coach
Coach Morgan is entering his 6th year with ProSkills and 4th season as a head coach. A graduate of Mira Costa High School, he played three years of varsity basketball before continuing his education at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Alongside coaching, he works professionally in business development and social media marketing. After three years coaching middle school boys, Coach Morgan is excited to bring his experience and energy to the ProSkills Stars program. He will be working closely with Jeff Herdman, Mira Costa Girls Head Coach, to help develop and mentor the next WNBA players.
Christen Clark
Assistant Coach
Christen has extensive experience working with youth as a case manager for Tessie Cleveland Community Services. He played Varsity basketball as a starter at West Torrance High School and was awarded First Team All Bay League his Senior Year and All Star game MVP. Christen was also a 2 year starter for the El Camino Warriors Men's college basketball team in Torrance and was awarded First team honorable mention in his Freshman season. Christen was a recipient of the Norm Very Athletic Scholarship and “Scholar Baller” award. Coach Christen currently plays in many high level leagues including the legendary summer Drew League for the Reapers Black Ops.
